TerraZyme® Soil Stabilization

TerraZyme®UTRS is the exclusive European distributor of TerraZyme®, a product manufactured by Nature Plus, Inc. TerraZyme® is the optimal method for soil stabilization. It is a natural, nontoxic liquid enzyme formulation that improves the engineering qualities of local soil, facilitates higher soil compaction densities, and increases soil strength and stability for lasting roads. It is convenient to use, safe and effective; and it dramatically improves road quality, lowers road construction costs, and reduces road maintenance.

The combination of proper engineering and the use of TerraZyme® reduces road maintenance costs for both paved and unpaved roads. TerraZyme® roads benefit from improved road base strength, stability, and resistance to water penetration, thereby increasing road utility and extending the life of expensive surface wear layers.

TerraZyme® benefits unpaved roads by maintaining shape, and reducing dust and lost gravel. UTRS Hungary Kft., our Hungary-based affiliate, has supervised the construction of roads that demonstrate the effectiveness of TerraZyme®. We are partnered with road builders throughout Hungary to bring this technology to the market. UTRS is actively seeking outlets for TerraZyme® throughout eastern and central Europe.

TerraZyme® is an easy-to-use natural, nontoxic liquid enzyme that:
  • Improves the engineering qualities of local soil
  • Facilitates higher soil compaction densities
  • Increase soil strength and stability for last roads
  • Reduces construction costs by 20-40%

  • - Reduces transporting of materials
    - Allows reuse of onsite materials
    - Reduces aggregate and amendment requirements
  TerraZyme® Benefits to Unpaved Roads
TerraZyme® Benefits to Unpaved Roads • Improves structural integrity and load capacity

• Decreases loss of aggregate and fines

• Reduces surface defects such as holes, ruts and surface
  corrugations

• Strengthens base layers for chip and seal or paving

• Reduces maintenance frequency

  TerraZyme® Benefits to Paved Roads
TerraZyme® Benefits to Paved Roads • Increases capacity of road to support traffic by
  improving E2 of base soils

• Extends the useful life of a road

• Increases resistance to pothole development

The Soil Stabilization Process

Loosening the soil for surface preparation

Clay being added to amend the soil mixture. Other amendments such as sand or gravel may be required

Mixing the amendments into the road surface

Spraying the road surface with TerraZyme® water mixture

Shaping the road surface with a grader

Compacting the road surface

Measuring the load-bearing capacity of the finished road

Adding the asphalt layer
